At our kennel, we strive to breed healthy, social, and well-balanced Golden Retrievers that not only possess a beautiful appearance but also enjoy working alongside their handlers. Our dogs are versatile family companions who take pleasure in a range of activities while also being stable and affectionate household members.

Health and well-being are at the heart of our breeding programme. We place great emphasis on thorough health screenings for our breeding dogs. They are tested for hip and elbow dysplasia (HD, ED), hereditary eye diseases (PRA1 & 2, as well as the annual ECVO examination), the skin condition Ichthyosis (ICT-A), and other inherited disorders. In addition, we closely monitor their overall physical and mental well-being.

Our puppies are raised in a safe and stimulating environment. They stay in our living room, where they become accustomed to household sounds, scents, and daily activities. We follow a carefully structured socialisation programme, introducing the puppies to a variety of environments, people, and animals. This includes outings to the woods, the town centre, and pet shops. They are also gradually introduced to wearing a harness, walking on a lead, and responding to a recall whistle.

Nutrition plays a crucial role in the development of our puppies. After four to five weeks of maternal milk, we gradually transition them to high-quality, organic food (Darf, fresh meat). Additionally, we introduce a varied diet incorporating natural food sources such as raw chicken necks, rabbit carcasses, meaty lamb bones, raw fish, tripe, rumen, and muscle meat from different animals (including pheasant and wild duck), as well as vegetables and fruit. This supports a strong digestive system and healthy growth.

Our puppies receive meticulous veterinary care. They are regularly wormed, tested for parasites such as worms and giardia, and follow an individualised vaccination strategy based on titre testing. At seven weeks, they undergo a temperament assessment, after which they are matched with their new owners based on character and compatibility. Around nine to ten weeks of age, they are ready to leave for their new homes.

Naturally, all our puppies are microchipped, registered, and provided with a European passport, a pedigree certificate, and an informative puppy pack. As members of the Golden Retriever Club Nederland (GRCN) and the Golden Retriever Vereniging (GRV), we adhere to high standards of quality and welfare in our breeding programme.

With love and dedication, we aim to lay the foundation for a long, healthy, and happy life for each puppy.
